The Pre-Workout Meal


While I have been on my fitness journey I have been looking for the perfect pre-workout food that can double as my breakfast. After trying various things and talking to several people I have found my perfect food. 

Oatmeal.

Growing up I never used to like oatmeal, but now that I'm trying to get back into shape without breaking the bank I decided to give it a try. 

Here's what I did:

I measure 1/2 cup of oats
2/3 cup of low fat milk (skim milk would work as well)
1/4 cup of low fat coffee creamer for taste



I added approximately 1/2 tablespoon of nutmeg and about 1 tablespoon of cinnamon for flavor. You can add berries, banana's or other spices to bring in some extra flavor.



 I cooked it on my stove for about 2 minutes and then it was done.



This was so easy and it was really good too! I even preade several other batches and am just keeping them in my fridge for now.
